SMCC Malolos Cathedral Cleanup Drive

SMCC Malolos Cathedral Cleanup Drive

We just wrapped up a Cleanup Drive last January 18, 2025, at one of the most iconic spots in the Philippines—Malolos Cathedral (also known as the Basilica Minore de Immaculada Concepcion)! 🧹✨

Now, let’s talk about why this place is a BIG DEAL. Malolos Cathedral isn’t just a church—it’s a historic treasure! 📜 Built in the 1590s, this place played a major role in our history. Did you know that it served as the Presidential Palace of the First Philippine Republic in 1898? 👑 Today, it stands tall as a symbol of Filipino resilience and unity—welcoming everyone, regardless of background or beliefs.

So, we weren’t just cleaning a random spot. This was about:
✅ Keeping history alive by protecting our heritage.
✅ Creating a cleaner, greener environment for everyone.
✅ Connecting with the community and showing that we care.

We’re all about making meaningful moves for our community and the environment. Got suggestions for our next activity? Hit us up!
