Strengthening Community Engagement: Conduct of Information, Education, and Communication Program to Affected Community
The Project Management together with Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd. (SMCC) had successfully facilitated an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) event in various Barangays covered by the Project. This event reaffirms our commitment to transparent communication and active community involvement regarding the ongoing construction of the North-South Commuter Railway Project – Contract Package 02. It served as a platform to update local residents on the project’s progress, future plans such as upcoming temporary road narrowing and closures due to project activities, the commencement of mainline drainage works, and address any concerns related to the ongoing construction.
This proactive approach is designed to minimize disruptions and foster strong community support throughout the construction process. By creating mutual understanding and transparency, the Project aims to build trust and strengthen the partnership with the affected Barangays ensuring that our operations continue to benefit the community positively.
Our dedication to social responsibility is reflected in our efforts to create a lasting, positive impacts in the affected Barangays and beyond.
